"My husband only has partial sight in one eye now and besides he wears hearing aids in both ears. By staying at the Sea Gypsy he can hear the sea and sometimes sees a glimmer of a wave. Why would anyone want to stay anywhere else when you have a very nice place to sleep, read and watch the ocean waves. Our children joined us throughout the week and since only we had been at the Sea Gypsy before they were amazed and very happy at where we were staying. They were like kids again visiting the beach where I spent many months of the year close by. It's the BEST and found the staff in the office and elsewhere most congenial and helpful. "

"My husband and I just spent the weekend (7/17 and 7/18/09), celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. While the location is prime, we were very disappointed to have unruly and rude neighbors. It was very unsettling to have people shouting obscenities off the balcony, music pounding through the walls and loud conversation into the wee hours of the morning. Nothing ever seemed to have been done. If they were talked to, it only made matters worse. I'm afraid this one incident will turn us away for quite some time. Really sad how just a few can ruin things for so many . . . "

"I stayed at the sea gypsy quite a few years ago and loved it!!! now my family and i are starting to spend alot more time in pismo,(to get away from the valley) and we have stayed at the sea gypsy at least (3) weekend in the last (6) months and loved it every time! last christmas we stayed a week in morro bay. we stayed at alittle cute motel and had a great time but after staying at the sea gypsy, we are now going to stay in pismo and the sea gypsy this christmas and every christmas after. the peaple at the front desk are very sweet, and friendly. the maid service is outstanding! we reserve (2) rooms every time we go and have a small dog in each, so in the mornings we ask that our rooms be clean as soon as possible and everytime both our rooms were cleaned and ready for us very fast! there was only one time that i remember that (1) of our rooms wern't ready when we got there, but we were early and the quest that was in it the nite befor left late. so we were asked to leave our cell # and they would call us as soon as our room was ready, expecting it to be awhile we decided to drive over to fin's restraunant to eat some lunch. by the time we got our table and orderd, the hotel had called letting us know our room was ready! in all it took maybe 25 minutes!! our rooms have always been clean. we love the pool and spa. on our last visit (8/09) it started raining, it was a light warm rain and my daughters and i went swimming! we love pismo and the sea gypsy and won't stay any where else. "

"We just got back from our first week long stay at the sea gypsy, we had a wounderful time! the staff was very friendly and nice. our rooms were always cleaned befor we got back from breakfast, we had alot of fun in the pool and spa and even the other quest seemed nice and friendly, my husband had a few nice conversations with a few peaple as they mete in the hall or in the parking lot!!! there was one morning that we desided to sleep in and not worry about having our rooms cleaned, we had put a " do not disturb " sign on our door, befor the housekeeping had left for the day , they had called us to make sure we didn't need anything, I think that was very nice. We enjoyed our stay so much that when we went to check out, we had already made reservations for our next christmas, but this time we are staying (2) weeks!!!! I know that making a reservation (i) year ahead kinda sounds alittle crazy, but i know that the sea gypsy is very popular, and i wanted to make sure they have openings for us because we won't stay any where else in pismo. "We stayed here for the first time. It was Dec. 10-12, our 38th anniversary. We left the balcony door open all night to hear the surf and watch the waves roll in from our bed.
